Coming back to my personal belief about funbook let me prove myself to you :
1.DESIGN: Firstly the design quality is perfect,it is only "1cm thick" and "7 inch touch screen diagonally".This makes device perfect to hold so no issues with the build quality of this device.Heads off to you MICROMAX in terms of build quality.
2.USER INTERFACE:Latest Android 4.0 Operating System is definitely faster and user friendly than its predecessor Operating System.I think once again micromax has hit the bulls eye and again no issues with that.It`s capacitive touch screen is very much responsive and display resolution is
480 x 800(a bit low resolution for 7 inch tablet).
3.PERFORMANCE:In this section you may think its weak but again Micromax fools us the device is powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 Processor,512 MB DDR3 RAM,Mali-400MP GPU(Graphic Processing Unit),thats same graphic chip that is in Samsung Galaxy s2.This tablet is capable of playing 1080p videos without any issues,Flawless Video Playback.Due to upgraded Android OS this device never hangs frequently as previous Android OS did.Touchscreen is very responsive it lags a bit when device is just powered on and when it performs some heavy tasks such as HD GAMING,otherwise touch is brilliant.Talking about battery perfomance, it is average.If you have used any android mobile device then compared to those this tablet has fairly nice battery.You can easily use this tablet for 1 day including some light processes such as 1 hour videoplayback,1 hour browsing,2 hour ebook reading etc.
4.CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS:Funbook provides various internet connectivity options such as wifi and 3g dongles such as TATA PHOTON PLUS(it is available at Rs 500 with device with free 1GB data for 2 months).But disappointing thing is that only selected DATA CARDS are compatible with this device,i have "MICROMAX MMX352g"which was not compatible with it,while i found that most of the CDMA 3g dongles are compatible with the device.
*Bluetooth support is not present in the device.
*No GPS(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM)
but through internet you can acces your location in google maps.
*It can be connected to PC via ethernet and if internet is available on pc you can connect internet to tablet also.
*The browser supports flash content with ease.
*Internal Memory is 4 GB divided in 2GB separately thus not possible to use as much expected.
*It supports micro SD card upto 32 GB and any pendrive can be connected to it using mini usb to usb cable available with the box however External HARD DRIVES are not supported.You can easily use your data card as micro sd card reader.
*No sim card slot.
*It supports HDMI connectivity that is you can connect your tablet to HD TV and watch your tablets content on HD TV,a very rich feature in this price range.
*It has wifi inbuilt so connectivity is improved a bit.
I think for making the device so affortable Micromax has to lessen these features but still I was very much satisfied with this.
5.EDUCATION:This tablet is very nice for education purpose ,you can get study material from Nursery to Graduate level.By paying 700 Rupees you can get study material for you level of studying.This feature is extremely useful for students living in rural areas where quality eduction lacks,it also fulfills the need of tution but still for doubt clearing you need to find an alternative.
*Reading an ebook is very soothing to eyes in the device as every thing is crystal clear but still long hours reading ebook cause pain in the eyes and becomes irritating.Maximum 3 hours of reading is suggested foe reding in the tablet like this.
6.GAMING AND OTHER ENTERTAINMENT STUFFS:
*Cool thing is that you can play all the games compatible with GALAXY S2 with FUNBOOK so playing HD games is not a big problem but however in google play you may not find HD GAMES for the device ,You have to use external source to download HD GAMES like my blog that is Funbookgamespot.blogspot.in.
*MINi games like Angry Birds,Temple Run,Raging Thunder,Cut The Rope etc work flawlessly with the device.HD games are sometimes a bit laggy on this device and becomes irritating somtimes.
*Almost every android application is compatible with FUNBOOK and installing and using applications will never be a problem.
*Video playback will never be a broblem but due to dullness in the screen in the daytime you will experience less colours in the video blayback.But at the night time its very satisfying but seriously telling you quality playback as found on the GALAXY TAB and APPLE IPAD is very ahead than FUNBOOK.Viewing angles(updown) for the device is a bit dissappointing but sidewise viewing angles are perfect.

Guys for a student this tablet is perfect match.Truly telling you there is no feature in the world that will make you happy forever like in HD games by excessive playing you will be bored even on high end devices so be happy with that you have in this tablet.I bet you that no other tablet in this range is as useful as this device(you may find many Other types of companies selling cheap android tablets with lots of features but after very little time after buying the tablet you willl find that it was a waste of money,so this tablet is branded go for it).It is pocket friendly also, only 6499 Rupees at Snapdeal.com.So students go for it and be ready to experience its amazing features.
